Alexandrea Michelle Hunter
Alexandrea died on Christmas Eve, December 24 th , 2023, at the age of 31. Alex was born in Aberdeen,
Washington on July 22, 1992, to Jerri Ancich and Michael Hunter, immediately capturing the hearts of
everyone in her family. She attended Queen of Angels Catholic School in Port Angeles, Washington and
was baptized in 1999. Alex's childhood was spent living at Lake Sutherland with her mother where she
had many happy memories. In grade school Alex won a young authors award for a beautiful poem she
wrote. She also won the whole school spelling bee in only 5 th grade. Alex was active in Girl Scouts, ballet,
and Catholic Youth Organization all through grade school. She attended Wishkah Valley High School and
graduated in 2010, wanting to graduate where her mom and family did. Alex enjoyed volleyball,
basketball, and was an outstanding cheerleader. She loved writing and drama, having the part of Ariel in
The Little Mermaid. After high school Alex moved to Sequim where she received her Certified Nursing
Assistant certificate and enjoyed her work. Alex was unique, creative, funny, smart, and compassionate.
She was very talented at writing and was extremely artistic. She was quick witted with a great sense of
humor.
She is survived by her mom Jerri Ancich of Aberdeen, dad Michael Hunter of Montana, son Kayson
Hunter, daughter Meadow Elizabeth, twin daughters Saylor Grey and Autumn Shelby, longtime
companion Chris Brown, grandmother Helen Durham, uncle Chris Durham, uncle Peter (Butch) and aunt
Jackie Ancich Vessey. Her godmothers were Auntie Jackie and Auntie Kimberlee Raines. She is also
survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins that she loved very much and loyal childhood friend
Shelby Reibel, naming her daughter Autumn after her. Preceding her in death was grandfather Peter
Steven Ancich Jr (1992) and grandfather Roger Durham (2007). Arrangements are made by Harrisons
Mortuary of Aberdeen. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
P.S. Hey Al – your family promises to tell your children about you and how much you loved them. We
have so many happy and wonderful memories to share with them. You will not be forgotten, and we will
also keep our promise to tell your children about the Lord Jesus Christ. We love you baby girl!
