Obituary

Chris Crusan died at age 39 on October 2nd, 2022. He is succeeded in life by his mother Lina, and his sisters Ingrid, Briana, and Nicci. He was single, never married, and had no children at the time of his death.

Chris was born in Seattle, as were his sisters Briana and Nicci. He was the youngest of the three born to Lina Crusan and Peter Corliss. Siblings from Peter's previous marriage include Sabina, Ingrid, and Justin. Because the Corliss Family homesteaded in Washington, there were many cousins and Corliss family reunions when Chris was a child. When Peter and Lina split, Lina took her children to South Dakota where her family lives.

After the split, Chris would go to stay with Ingrid periodically living in Washington, then South Dakota, and later Minnesota. In his late teens and early 20's, Chris tried several things to figure out 'what he wanted to be when he grew up.' In addition to attending college early, he tried several different colleges and eventually went into the military.

After leaving the Military, Chris joined his mother and sister Briana in Portland, ME where they had moved to from Minneapolis. Chris lived out there for 15 years, until this summer, when he decided to move from Portland, ME back to Washington State.

Chris lived in Washington for 6 months before ending his life.

Those close to Chris remember him as a great friend with a big heart and a great sense of humor. Ingrid's daughters remember him as 'Uncle Chris' who cared for them after school. For the rest of us, he will be remembered fondly as someone who never quite found his place in life. We pray he has found peace.

*There will be a small memorial for Chris held in MN. Details are TBD and will be announced on the memory wall.
