Dale Albert Wilder, passed away on October 2, 2025, at the age of 65. He was born on June 28, 1960, to Dale and Patricia Wilder.
Dale was raised in Elma, Washington, where he graduated from Elma High School in 1978. He later attended South Puget Sound Community College, earning his certification as an Automotive Technician in 1982.
A hardworking man throughout his life, Dale was self-employed from 1989 until 2016 before joining Quigg Brothers, where he worked until his retirement in March 2024.
Dale was a longtime member of the Elma Eagles, where he enjoyed spending time with friends and being part of the community.
He had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and found his greatest enjoyment hunting, fishing, camping, and playing the guitar. Dale most enjoyed being around the campfire, out in the woods, or sharing music with family and friends.
Dale is survived by his son, Nickolas Wilder of Nampa, ID; his cherished grandchildren, Gunner Wilder and Hazel Wilder, both of Nampa, ID; brothers, Alan Wilder of Montesano, WA, and Jason Wilder of Central Park, WA; and his uncles, Lanny Christenson and Robert Christenson. He was preceded in death by his brother, Kelly Wilder, and his parents, Dale and Patricia Wilder.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Friends Landing in Montesano. Family and friends are invited to attend and are welcome to bring a favorite dish or simply come as they are to celebrate Dale’s life and share memories.
