Daren James Eberwein passed away in Seattle on July 3rd at the age of 37. He was born on June 17th, 1987 in Aberdeen to parents Clifford Eberwein and Judy Lynn Blackburn. He graduated from Harbor High School and then went on to work as a commercial fisherman and worked for Washington Crab in the shrimp processing department. He was also a member of the Quinault Nation. He was an avid outdoorsman and especially loved hunting, fishing, and digging for clams. In his younger years, he participated in baseball, Pop Warner football, and boxing.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Judy Blackburn; brother, Erik Eberwein, bonus brother, Gary Hall; and grandmother, Lydia Cultee.
He is survived by his father, Cliff (bonus mom, Cheryl) Eberwein and bonus sister, Malia Tanner.
A celebration of Life will be held at the West End Playfield, 2501 Bay Ave. in Aberdeen, on July 27th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A private inurnment will be held at a later date.
The family requests that donations be made to a drug addiction or mental health charity of the donor's choosing. Arrangements have been entrusted to Harrison Family Mortuary
