Denise Carol Twedt Osgood was a Twedt family Christmas present. Born on December 23 1956 to proud parents Sylvia and Donald Twedt of Rudyard,Montana.
In 1960 the family moved to the PNW. Denise graduated from Elma High School in Elma,WA in 1975.She was a graduate of Grays Harbor College. She married the love of her life, Myron Osgood of Elma on July 21,1979. They bought a house in Brady WA where they raised their daughter Keri. Their life was family and friends. Every holiday was celebrated with a BBQ or a holiday meal and everyone was invited. They were married for close to 40 years when Myron passed away in March 2019.
Deedee as her family called her, worked for Montesano School District for many years as a paraprofessional. She loved her students that she taught to read. She made lasting friendships while working there. She was famous for her spicy pickles, canning and freezing from her and Myron garden, annual trips to Eastern Washington to get fruit to can, also canned fresh tuna fish and salmon.
She will be very missed by her daughter Keri Spates, her sisters, Dawn Maki of Missoula,Mt. and Trudy Jenkins of Spokane WA. Her brothers Irwin of Montesano and Randy of Port Angeles preceded her death.
She also leaves behind her cherished grandsons Dakota and Buddy who were the light of her eyes and filled her heart with joy. Her sister-in-laws Serita and Cynthia and Lorell and Karol and Karla. The love and friendship they shared was a lifetime. She also leaves 8 Twedt first cousins who loved her dearly and many nieces and nephews and their children.
Rest in peace our Deedee,you deserve it. We will miss you.
