Frances Katherine Valentine passed away at her home in Aberdeen, Washington, on May 13, 2025. She was 91 years old.

Frances was born on June 1, 1933, in Seattle, Washington, to parents Claude Uther Brooks and Arbie Joesphine (Bacus) Brooks. She was raised in Ocean Shores and
worked for many years as a clerk at Kress department store in Aberdeen. Her favorite forms of entertainment were playing Bingo and trying her luck at the casinos.

Frances is survived by her sons, Robert of Aberdeen and Walter of Labam, Washington; daughters, Cathy and Linda, both of Aberdeen; her brother, James; sisters, Bev,
Patricia, Betty, and Peggy; as well as thirteen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, and thirteen great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her late husband, Walter J. Valentine, Sr.; her parents, Claude and Arbie Brooks; daughter Terry; brothers, Wesley, Donald, Roy, Robert, and
Rex; and her sisters, June, Vi, and Shirley.

Services are planned for September 13th, 2025 from 1-4 at 1st Baptist church in Hoquiam.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Harrison Family Mortuary.
