Gerard "Jerry" Joseph Krauth passed away on December 2nd, 2023. He was 76. Jerry was born to Joseph and Marion Krauth in Wallace, ID on December 16th, 1946. He was raised in Aberdeen and attended Aberdeen High School.
Jerry worked for Grays Harbor Paper for 27 years, then became a self-employed general contractor until his retirement in 2008. Jerry was an avid archery hunter and even started TBW (Traditional Bow Hunters) of Washington, he was also a part of many other Bow Hunting organizations. He enjoyed many other things such as camping, fishing, woodworking, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Marion Krauth and son Brian Krauth.
He is survived by his wife Sharon Krauth who resides at the family home in Aberdeen; sons Sherman "DJ" Hatley of Aberdeen, WA, Jason Hatley of Peoria, AZ, Berry Krauth of Aberdeen, WA, and Steven Krauth of Aberdeen, WA; sister Marie Krauth Ignac of Steamboat Island, WA; 10 grandchildren Skylar Osborn, Zander, Gavin, Austin, Shelby, and Danika Hatley, Daniel, Aurora, and Effie Krauth, and Morgan Reeves; and 1 great-grandchild on the way.
