Harry Vantrese Handley III, 68, of Montesano, died November 3rd, 2022, at his Montesano home after a battle with cancer. Harry was born in Aberdeen, Washington on December 11th, 1953. He attended Aberdeen High School and graduated in 1973. Harry was married to Kaye, his beloved wife, on October 8th, 1996 in Reno, Nevada. Sealed Together for Time and all Eternity in the Seattle Temple March 20th, 1999.
Harry was a local meat cutter and retired after 37 years from Top Foods. Harry's second career was a Courtesy Clerk for Top Foods and loved working with his local community.
Harry is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints; and a member of the Men's Club at Cosi Highlands Golf.
He loved to maintain his beautiful yard ,enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, and bowling. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was an avid Mariners and Seahawk fan.
Harry is survived by his wife Kaye Handley (Calder) of Montesano, Washington.
4 Daughters, April and Larry Hensley of College Place, WA; Melissa and Aaron Dahlstom of Cosmopolis, WA; Jennifer and Carl Hansen of Spanaway, WA; Melissa and Ken Hirst of Montesano, WA, and 1 son Michael and Alison Prall of Montesano, WA and 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He also has many wonderful nieces and nephews.
We also want to give special thanks to his daughter, Melissa Hirst for the wonderful nursing care she provided for Harry in his last few months.
