Jason Ryan Reed passed away unexpectedly on July 28, 2026 in Federal Way, Washington. He was born on December 14, 1995 to Ronald and Cheryl Reed in Aberdeen, Washington. Jason grew up in Montesano, Washington, graduating from Montesano High School, part of the Class of 2014. Jason later on moved to Elma, Washington. Jason was a Seahawks and Montesano Bulldogs football fan, and was big into hunting.

Growing up, Jason was part of the racing community, starting out in Quarter Midgets, moving on to 360 Sprint Cars at Grays Harbor Raceway and other Northwest tracks, also spending some time behind the wheel of a Hornet race car. When not racing, he would help out numerous drivers and even those that just needed something quickly. Jason was the happiest at the racetrack. At the time of his passing Jason worked for Quigg Bros. Jason was a hard worker, had an infectious smile and laugh.

Jason is survived by his Father and Mother Ron & Cheryl Reed (Clevenger), brother Aaron Reed, numerous aunts and uncles, as well as cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Harold D Reed & Belva Reed, Harold & Kathleen Clevenger, and uncles Bruce Clevenger and Harold D Reed Jr.

There will be a celebration of life on Sunday August 30, 2026 at 1PM, it will be a potluck, with casual or wear your racing and Seattle Seahawks gear. The celebration of life will be at McCleary VFW Hall, 158 N Summit Rd, McCleary, WA 98557.
