Jerry Eugene McCamey

Jerry Eugene McCamey, 83, of Aberdeen, Washington, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 6, 2025. He was born on December 8, 1941, in Adel, Iowa, to Charles McCamey and Louise (Glenn) McCamey.
Jerry was raised in Roundup, Montana, where he built lifelong friendships and a strong work ethic. He later settled in Aberdeen, Washington, where he worked for many years as a mill worker before retiring. Jerry was known for his dependable nature and the pride he took in his work.
For the past 39 years, Jerry shared his life with his beloved partner, Verna Vessey. Together they made countless memories, spending time at the beach, camping with family, and enjoying the company of their grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family was truly at the heart of Jerry's life.
Jerry is survived by his partner, Verna Vessey of Aberdeen; his son Jay (Laura) McCamey and daughter Mel (Jake) Kramlich, both of Roundup, Montana; his sister Jackie Miller of Billings, Montana; six grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louise Roach and husband (Slim); his son Bradley McCamey; brother Charles Rogers; and sisters Jeanine Skidmore and Janet Jones.
