Jerry Clark Peyton

Jerry Clark Peyton passed away at his home in Elma, Washington, on June 11, 2026. He was 58 years old.

Jerry was born on September 11, 1967 in Tacoma, Washington, to parents John and Norma (Sherman) Peyton. He was a member of the Weatherwax High School graduating class of 1986 and after graduation, he went on to work in Alaska on the fish processors and then worked construction in Grays Harbor before starting his career with Northwest Sheet Metal Local 66, which employed him for more than 20 years. On June 23, 2006, Jerry married Julie Gunnells in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Jerry enjoyed many hobbies including hunting, fishing, camping, watching the Seattle Seahawks play, and attending music festivals.

He is survived by his loving wife, Julie Peyton; son Ian (Misty) Peyton and their children Emma and Wyatt of Elma; and daughters Keyaira Peyton of Cosmopolis and Anna Miles and her daughter Callie of Elma.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Norma Peyton.
