Joel Donald Arthur Anderson passed away at his home in Westport on
Thursday, July 11, 2024. He was 48. Joel was born December 6, 1975 in
Aberdeen, WA to Donald and Wendy (Hines) Anderson.
He was raised in Westport and graduated from Ocosta High School.
Joel worked in the cranberry bogs and fished commercially in Washington and Alaska.
He was passionate about sports cards and Joel always made a mean fried
egg sandwich. Joel was always willing to help anyone who asked.

Joel is survived by his parents Donald and Wendy Anderson of
Westport; brother Seth Anderson of Westport; sisters Tisha Quinby of
Grayland, WA and Rachael Anderson of Crescent City, Calif.; six
nephews Tristan Anderson, Samuel Quinby, Crehan Knutsen, Daniel
Quinby, Jack Dore, West Beeman and niece Bella Beeman; grandmother, Mildred Walkowsky; uncles and aunts, Roger and Sherrie Hines, Pam Rust, JJ and Sara Sarr, Eric and Tammy Anderson, Mike and Shari Lumori, Christine Morgan, Kathy Anderson, and Jenny Anderson; cousins, Rebecca, Natalie, Joshua, Jayme, Maryna, Erica, Austin, Zachary, Nolan, Rochelle, Michaela, Tommy, Timmy, Jasmine, Brittany, Donia, Chandra, Sacha, and Ezra.
There will be no formal services.
