Jossi Lonidier, youngest child of Louis Lonidier and Gloria Dean, was born in Monroe, Louisiana on June 14, 1958 and passed away on January 25, 2025. She was a woman of many talents; welder, machinist, automotive mechanic, fabricator, and bassist. She held many different jobs in several southern states before meeting October Alpi (neé Blake) in New Orleans in the autumn of 1997. The two became best friends and lived together, first in New Orleans then in Oklahoma, from 2002-2016, and finally on a farm north of Hoquiam starting early in 2017. Jossi loved listening to music, science fiction books and shows, and riding her motorcycle, though her ability to ride decreased as her health declined over the last eight years. She was diagnosed with throat cancer in October and was receiving chemotherapy, but passed away from a stroke late in the evening of January 24th. She is mourned by her many friends and especially by her best friend, Mrs. Alpi, with whom she had such a close relationship for 27 years. As per her wishes, she was cremated and her ashes returned to nature.
