Obituary

Juddie (Judy) Marie (Helland) Engh our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend went home to Heaven to be with the Lord on November 25th, 2023. She was born November 3, 1940, to Fred and Ruby (Pitman) Helland in Aberdeen, WA. She was raised in Aberdeen and later moved to Crescent City, CA, where she attended Del Norte High School.

On January 1, 1963, Juddie married Richard Engh in Seattle, WA. Together they had 3 children. Judie loved horses, especially her horse "Oh What Luck" Lucky. She was a member of Backcountry Horsemen of Washington and Matlock Church. She enjoyed baseball, bowling, dancing, camping, and horseback riding.

Juddie was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Richard "Dick" Engh, her parents, 4 sisters, Betty Gordon, Pat Moulton, Darlene Simmons, and Gloria Eisenhower; her only brother Fred "Donny" Helland. She is survived by her three children, Richard "Rick" Engh, Cheryl Clark, and Valerie Engh; sisters Arnita Watson, Katherine Ward, Diane Willoughby, Carol Camarena, and Colleen Bumby; 9 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

The family asks that any contributions be made to Providence Hospice in the care of Harrison Family Mortuary (311 W Market St Aberdeen, WA 98520). She will be remembered by everyone who knew the love she had shared for her family.

A memorial service is being planned for December 16, 2023 at 12pm at the Matlock Community Church. 216 Matlock-Brady Road, Elma, WA.
