Obituary

Kortnee Leann Richart, born on February 4, 1989, in Aberdeen, Washington, passed away in her hometown on June 24, 2026. With deep sadness, her family and friends mourn the loss of a beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend whose presence touched many lives.

Kortnee was a proud graduate of Hoquiam High School. She then went on to work as a waitress and hostess in Ocean Shores. Her warmth and amiable spirit made her a favorite among colleagues and patrons alike, and she was known for treating everyone she met with kindness and respect.

Kortnee was blessed with a creative soul. She found joy in music and she delighted in the simple beauty of flowers. Her hands were rarely still, busy with craft projects and rock painting—each creation a reflection of her vibrant personality and caring heart. These pursuits brought warmth and color into the lives of her loved ones and served as lasting reminders of her unique spirit.

Family was at the heart of Kortnee’s world. She leaves behind her loving father, Troy Richart, and devoted mother, Candice Fry. Her memory will live on in her cherished children: her sons Kobe Newton, Trevon Purves, and Robbie Rowell, as well as her daughter Gracie Bryson. Kortnee is also survived by her brothers Devon, Dylan, and Deacon Richart, and her sisters Moriah McInnis and Hailee Gonzalez. Each remembers her as a source of support, laughter, and unconditional love.

Kortnee's absence is deeply felt by all who knew her, but her legacy endures in the lives she touched and the moments she shared with those around her.

A viewing to honor Kortnee’s life will be held on June 29, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Harrison Family Mortuary, 311 W. Market Street, Aberdeen, WA 98520.

Kortnee Leann Richart’s memory will forever be cherished, and her kindness and creativity will continue to inspire those who had the privilege to know her.
