LARRY ROGER GREEN
April 18, 1948 – January 10, 2025

Larry Roger Green was born April 19, 1948 in Roseburg, Oregon to Joe and Doris
Green. He grew up in Lookingglass, Oregon.
After high school graduation, he went into banking. Then went into the Army and served
in Vietnam. When he got out of the Army, he went back to banking with the U.S. Bank in
Oregon.

He moved to Aberdeen, Washington about 1977 and worked in a shake mill and then
worked for Boise Cascade on the green chain, log yard, drove dump truck, and finally
log truck. That's where he met Carlene Stevens, who was weigh master for Boise
Cascade and they married in 1979.
Next, he drove for Rodrick's at Junction City for a number of years, then Chris Johnson,
C&B Logging, had his own self-loader and last job was with Holbrook for a number of
years.

He loved riding motorcycles, fishing, woodworking, reading and animals. His favorite
food was pizza and green olives. He could never get enough of either!
He was known to most by his CB handle, Griz.

He is survived by his wife, Carlene, son, Charles (Tyler) Green, daughter, Shanna
(Stefen) Kaufman, and grandchildren: Koufax, Emma, and Vivian.
