LEOLA MARIAN FISH
Leola Fish peacefully passed away on March 6th, 2024, 1 month before her 92'
birthday. Leola was born on April 6th. 1932 to Freda and Charles Fritz, but was
raised by her mother and Stepfather Royal E Day, in Libby Montana. Leola also lived
with her grandmother "granny" McDowell in Troy Montana. In 1952 she married
Gerald Fish, and together they raised 5 children. Leola loved being a homemaker
and was a wonderful mother. She loved baking, reading, gardening, sewing, and
going on walks in the country with her husband and dogs. Leola spent 13 years as
a rural mail carrier, and also volunteered at the Copalis Food Bank. In her later years
she loved watching cartoons and playing tea party with her great granddaughter
Katilaia. Leola was a gentle person with a beautiful soul and was loved very much.
Leola is survived by two daughters, Terri (Stephen) Leach and Sandra (Brian)
Sundling, 14 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 12 great great
grandchildren.
Leola was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Marilyn, her husband Gerald,
her 2 sons, Micheal and Bruce Fish, and her daughter Sharon Eaton. At her request
no service will be held. In lieu of flowers her daughters have requested that
donations be made to the ALS Association or the National Brain Tumor Society.
