Montesano resident, Mindy Lee Yeoman, passed away at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, Washington on April 4, 2025, at the age of 72. She was born on May 25, 1952, in Aberdeen, Washington, to parents Max Dotson and Edna Petshow. She was a graduate of Weatherwax High School and later went on to work as a caregiver, and after 15 years, she retired in January of 2024. She was a member of the Moose Lodge in Montesano and enjoyed volunteering for them whenever she was able. Mindy also enjoyed many hobbies, such as writing, playing bingo, rock collecting, digging for old bottles, reading, camping, and most of all, spending time with her family.
Mindy is survived by her son, Jeffrey E. Yeoman of Aberdeen; daughters, Angela Dotson of Hoquiam and Kaylee Steen of Aberdeen; sister, Patricia Hartman of Lake Havasu, Arizona; as well as eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Max Dotson and Edna Petshow; and her brothers, Benny Dotson and Larry Dotson.
A memorial service will be planned and announced at a later date.
