Patricia Ann Appling passed away on December 6th, 2023. She was 79. Patricia was born on October 30th, 1944 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to William Cecial and Eva Marie (Jardneaux) Pharis. Patricia moved to the Grays Harbor area in 1998. Patricia was an E5 Sergeant in the US Marines and served from 1964-1970. She also worked for the WA State Dept. of Corrections and retired in 2010.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents William and Eva Marie Pharis and brothers Paul and Kenneth Pharis. She is survived by her sons Charles Ray Appling II of OR and James William Appling of WA; daughter Brandy Medrano of OR; sister Doris Phelps of LA; 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
