Patricia Carolyn Wheeler passed away on July 3rd, 2024. She was 74 years old.
Patricia was born on June 27th, 1950 in Sunnyside to parents Herbert Cain and Loretta Stump (Cain). Patricia went to school to get a career in healthcare as a phlebotomist. She was an active member of The Kingdom Hall in Hoquiam. Patricia enjoyed building dollhouses, sewing, cooking, and baking (bread, in particular). Patricia loved to sing and did so for most of her life. She was very well known for having a beautiful voice. But the things that brought her the most joy were her children and grandchildren.
Patricia is preceded in death by her three brothers, David and Gene of Hoquiam and Tubby Cain of Alaska; and sisters, Judy West and Karen Amsbury.
She is survived by her daughters, Janell Livingston of Aberdeen and Yvonne Dayton of Olympia; sister, Judy Cain; eight grandchildren, Amber Livingston of Aberdeen, Brianna Deason of Olympia, Caitlin Livingston of Texas, Kalee Dayton of Aberdeen, Tyresse Dayton of Tacoma, Nyeki Dayton of Vancouver, Raylyn Dayton of Vancouver, and Zhyion Dayton of Olympia; and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on August 24th from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at 515 Airport Way in Hoquiam, weather permitting. (if rain is forecasted, the alternate location will be the Aberdeen Avenue Baptist Church in Aberdeen.) Arrangements have been entrusted to Harrison Family Mortuary.
