Paul (RJ) Robert Jaques passed away at his home in Aberdeen, WA. He was born on November 30, 1961, to Ira and Alberta Jaques. He attended school in La Pine and Hepner, OR, where he played football, wrestled, and joined a band called The Night Hawk. He joined the military on July 1, 1980. After boot camp in South Carolina, he was shipped over to New Elm, Germany where he served during part of the Cold War, until early 1983 when he was shipped back to North Carolina until June of 1983 when he was honorably discharged.
Paul (RJ) moved to the Grays Harbor area in the late summer of 2013, where he met up with his long-time friend, Ruthie Fridley. On August 13, 2016, they were married. On this day, he didn't just gain a wife, he gained a daughter, Christie Russell, and 3 grandchildren: Charlie White, Austin, and Akasha Russell, whom he loved as his own.
Paul is survived by his wife Ruthie at their family home in Aberdeen; mother Alberta Baker of Springfield, OR; father and stepmom - Ira (Jake) and Rena Jaques of Toole, UT; 3 brothers Anthony (Janet) Jaques of Springfield, OR, Dusty (Losi) of Baker City, OR, Ray (Tanya) Thomason of OR; sister Deanna Jaques-Bell of Toole, UT; 4 daughters- HeatherJaques- Harring of Chadbourn, NC, Sheria of OR, Chyanne of Auburn, WA, and Christie Russell of Aberdeen, WA; son Cody Sims of Pendelton, OR; 11 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews whom he loved and was always a phone call away.
