Obituary

Randell Wayne Bale, age 73, went home to Heaven to meet his Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 21, 2026. He was born on July 17, 1952, to Don and Ena Bale of Raymond, Washington.

On July 14, 1979, he married the love of his life, Vickie Guernsey Bale, and together they built a Christ-centered home and family.
Randy was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, mentor, and faithful servant of God. He worked on Bale Farms in Baleville, Washington, and later served at Teen Challenge Training Center in Pennsylvania. For more than 25 years, he worked in the prison system, where he taught, mentored, encouraged, and invested in the lives of countless inmates with compassion, wisdom, and hope.

Randy lived an incredible life devoted to loving and serving Jesus and all those around him. He participated in mission trips, volunteered faithfully, provided marriage counseling, and poured his heart into helping others know the love and hope of Christ. Anyone who knew Randy experienced his kindness, contagious joy, humor, and genuine love for people. He had a special love for growing flowers and giving them away.
More than anything, Randy loved Jesus with all his heart. His favorite bible verse was Matthew 6:33. His faith shaped the way he lived, served, and loved his family and community. His legacy of faithfulness, compassion, laughter, and servant-hearted love will continue for generations.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 yrs, Vickie; his children Joshua Bale, Daniel Bale, Mary Betchner (belated Mike), Josiah Bale, Sarah Gardner (Daniel), Isaac Bale (Linsey), and Hosana Bale (Jose). He is also deeply loved by his 16 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Randy is also survived by his siblings Laura Rohr,, Larry Bale (Sue), David Bale (Kathy), and Amy Moyer (Rick).

Preceded in death by parents Don & Ena Bale, brother in law Jerry Rohr, and son-in-law Mike Betchner.

Though he will be deeply missed, his family rejoices in the hope of Heaven and the promise that they will see him again.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 30, at 10:00 AM at Grays Harbor Foursquare Church in Aberdeen, WA. In honor of Randy, guests are invited to wear white and bright, colorful tropical-style clothing. Lunch will be served following the service, and guests are welcome to bring a side dish or dessert to share.
