Bob Talevich Obituary
Life long Aberdeen resident Bob Talevich passed away on October 13, 2026. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Verlayne Talevich and sons Andrew, Mark and Christopher Talevich, four grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. His beloved daughter Stephanie passed away 7 years before him.Bob was a graduate of Weatherwax High School and Grays Harbor Community College, and from there pursued a life of driving trucks or repairing them. Right out of college he worked for Grays Harbor Equipment as a service and sales representative selling Suzuki and Honda motorcycles. When offered the opportunity to drive dump trucks for Friend and Rikalo he couldn't resist and that led to driving for Graystone. When opportunities presented themselves he always followed his heart so F, G. Peterson was his next move.He drove and worked as diesel mechanic for them for many years and then a stint at Lamb of Grays Harbor. Of course when offered the position of low-bed driver for Brumfield Construction this was just up his alley. Hauling heavy equipment to heavy boulders he was on the move. He retired from Brumfield Construction in the early 2000's.With his love of driving and travel a motorhome hit the road for spring break trips to the Oregon dunes with 3 boys on three wheelers and quads and daughter Stephanie on the Honda Odyssey. Those trips led to retirement sightseeing and camping on the Oregon Coast to Central Washington lakes, and many National Parks.
