Sharon Lee Reynvaan, 89, a lifelong resident of Grays Harbor went peacefully to be with her
LordSavior on Friday, December 27, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones.
Sharon was born on August 28, 1935, to Harold and Grace Johnson. She was raised on a small
farm in Central Park with her older sister Barbara. In her youth, Sharon could be found riding
through the countryside with her friends on her beloved horses Royetta and Nikki.
Sharon graduated from Aberdeen High School in 1953.  After graduation Sharon worked for the
GH County Extension Agency and then later Aberdeen Federal Savings Loan.
Sharon married Robert Reynvaan on April 7, 1962.  They bought a farm on the East Hoquiam
Road where they raised their 4 girls.  Sharon was very involved in her children's lives. She was
a 4-H leader, camp cook and beef superintendent at the GH County Fair. In 2006 the Grays
Harbor County Fair was dedicated to Sharon in recognition of her many years of service to the
4-H Youth and the community.
Sharon loved gardening and had a green thumb!  She was also a wonderful baker and loved
selling her vegetables and baked goods at the Farmer's Market where she was especially
known for her apple pies.
Sharon also loved dancing, music, trying her luck at the casinos, bowling, playing pinochle with
friends, and vacationing with her family.
If you were lucky enough to know Sharon then you were blessed.  She had a beautiful smile, a
quick wit, and a sweet gentle soul.

Sharon was preceded in death by her husband Bob, parents Harold Grace Johnson, and her
sister Barbara Pinger.
Remaining to cherish Sharon's memory are her daughters:  Lori Gourlie (Bill), Wendy Thomsen,
