Obituary

Sheron Kay Creed, age 65, passed away at her home in McCleary on October 27th. She was born on July 8th, 1959 in Chester, Pennsylvania, to parents Frank Drozdowski and Florence Brown (Rollo) Drozdowski. She attended Sun Valley High School and then went on to technical school. Sheron was a jack of all trades with a vast number of vocational skills, which included jobs such as painter, electrician, chef, bar tender, Cessna plane pilot, limousine driver, ranch hand, and captain's mate. She had an exceptional work ethic and treated hard work like an adventure. She was a firm believer that any work worth doing is worth doing it right, even when it was a pain in the ass to do it that way! She was a lover of music and animals, especially her faithful companion dog, Panda. Sheron was an extraordinarily empathetic person and had a unique affinity for people who are at high risk and underprivileged. She was kind and understanding, even to those she didn't personally know. She took great pleasure talking to others about their opinions, life experiences, cultures, and philosophies while remaining true to her individuality. She was very humble and not afraid to admit when she was wrong or adapt to change. Her bravery was unmatched. She was not afraid to vocalize and defend her personal values as well as standing up for injustice, even when it meant standing alone. She was a resourceful problem solver and was always the first to offer help to others and was fiercely loyal to those close to her. She was adventurous, whimsical, and theatrical and knew how to have and create unabashed FUN! Her genuine smile and laughter made everyone around her feel relaxed and safe to express themselves in the same way. She was a protector and nurturer of her family and friends and will be remembered fondly by everyone who was fortunate enough to know her.
Sheron is survived by her mother, Florence Rollo of Brookhaven, Pennsylvania; daughter Bethany Lee of West Palm Beach, Florida; brother Michael Rollo of Brookhaven, Pennsylvania; sisters Lisa Mills of Brookhaven, Pennsylvania, Lin Kimmel of Landing, New Jersey, and Alexis Brown of Brookhaven, Pennsylvania; and one grandchild, Jax.
She is preceded in death by her father, Frank Drozdowski.
