Tharan "Buzzy" Dean Pettis passed away on August 12th, 2022 at the age of 15. He was born on January 26th, 2007 to Jason Pettis Jr and Rachel Stevenson Dungey in Aberdeen, Washington. He lived in Aberdeen until 2017, he then moved to North Dakota. He attended Dickinson High School and was headed into the 10th grade.
Buzzy enjoyed diesel mechanics, ATV riding, learning to work on vehicles, semi trucks with his papa, driving, football, and fishing.
Buzzy loved working on his Chevy truck, his family, and his friends.
Those who had the honor of knowing Buzzy know that he was one of the most precious gifts in this world. He seized every moment and made it worthwhile. Buzzy had a kindness in his heart that was felt by anyone lucky enough to spend time with him. His smile never failed to light up a room.
Buzzy is survived by his parents Jason Pettis Jr of Keene, North Dakota, and Rachel Stevenson Dungey of Hoquiam, Washington; grandparents Jason Sr and Brenda Pettis of Dickinson, North Dakota, Robert Stevenson and Dawn Erickson of Montesano, WA; brothers Stihl Pettis of Dickinson, Clifford Jackson of Taholah, Washington, Jaxx Morris of Hoquiam and Anson Pettis of Keene; great-grandparents Roberta and Arne Wilpone Aberdeen, WA, Walter Toy Longview, WA and Darlene Cheli of Aberdeen, WA; aunts Krystal Cox of Dickinson, ND, Jaclyn Stevenson Hoquiam, WA, Jessica Stevenson Pacific Beach, WA, and Bobbie Stevenson Aberdeen, WA; uncles Tommy Pettis of Dickinson, ND and Logan Cox of Dickinson, ND.
A celebration of Buzzy's life will be held Sunday, August 21st, 2022 from 12 to 3 PM, at the Aberdeen Rotary Log Pavillion located at 1401 Sargent Blvd., Aberdeen WA 98520.
