Vicki Phelps was born on October 26, 1965 to David Cain and Evelyn (Robbins) Cain. She started
life in Aberdeen at St. Joseph hospital, along with her twin brother. She attended Central
Elementary in Hoquiam, the family moved to Eastern Washington and she finished her
education in Springdale. She had a knack for arts and crafts projects and could always see a
different look or use for items. She made things and gave them to friends and family members.
She enjoyed old country music, 50s rock and classic rock. Her joke telling skills were well honed
and she rarely told the same one twice! Her generosity was wonderful and she had a giving
heart. Vicki had four children, Tiffany, Danny Jr, Alex, and Jamie, two grandchildren, and one
great grandchild. Vicki met and married Jim Phelps; they enjoyed life together in Aberdeen. She
was helpful with childcare for young friends. She drove a taxi in the Grays Harbor area for
several years and met many different people doing so. She was preceded in passing by her
husband Jim in 2008, father David in 2009, mother Evelyn in 2016, and sister Michelle in 2021.
Vicki passed away on May 10, 2026, at the age of 60. She is survived by her siblings, Vince,
Diana, Dawna, David, and Denise, and her four children along with nieces, nephews, and
countless friends. Services are pending at this time.
