Hoquiam resident, Vickie Lynn Miller, passed away at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle on January 18, 2026. She was 66 years old. Vickie was born on March 16, 1959, in
Kent, Washington, to parents Richard Spaulding and Margie (Phillips) Spaulding. She graduated from Hoquiam High School and also attended Grays Harbor College. In 1979, she married Gerald Dean Miller at the courthouse in Montesano. She was employed by Northwest Rock as a scale operator. In her spare time, Vickie loved to do crafting of all kinds but her favorite thing to do was to draw and paint. She also loved hummingbirds. Vickie was a sweet lady who was nice to everyone she met.

Vickie is survived by her sons Adam Miller of Hoquiam and Aaron Miller of Lexington, Oklahoma; sisters Linda Wolfe of Indiana, Kathy Goodrich of Hoquiam, and Laurie Hughes of Seattle; as well as nine grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, whom she dearly loved.

She is preceded in death by her husband Gerald Miller, and her parents Richard and Margie Spaulding.
