Willard Lee Eaton Jr.
"Junior"
May 21, 1954 – February 5, 2026
Willard Lee Eaton Jr., lovingly known as "Junior," was born on May 21, 1954, in Oroville, California, to Willard Lee Eaton Sr. and Iva May Rose. He lived a life marked by grit, faith, hard work, and stories that could stretch clear past sunset.

Junior enlisted in the United States Marine Corps on May 28, 1971, serving proudly until January 1973. Being a Marine was one of his greatest honors. It shaped him, strengthened him, and remained a point of deep pride throughout his life. Once a Marine, always a Marine.

He often described himself as a "jack of all trades and master of none," but those who knew him would say he mastered more than he let on. Over the years he worked as a welder, in fabrication, as a ranch hand, cattle farmer, and sanitation supervisor. If something needed building, fixing, welding, or wrangling, Junior could step in. He was the kind of man who had a story for everything because he truly had been there and done that, usually with grit, humor, and determination.

His faith in the Lord was strong and unwavering. He maintained a close relationship with God and was a member of Faith House Church in Aberdeen, Washington. His faith anchored him and guided him through life's challenges.
Junior is survived by his only child, his daughter, Shauna Milner. He was a proud grandfather to Daren Jr., Dylan Sr., and Kenadee. His legacy continues through his great-grandchildren, LeAnn (6), Dylan Jr. (6), Orion (5), and Hunter (1).
He is survived by his brother Donald Eaton and by his beloved nieces and nephews, Jon, Jeremy, Laura, and Robbie, with whom he shared a special and close bond. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers Les, Perry, and Michael; his sister Roberta, who passed in infancy; and his beloved dog, Bella Rose.

Junior once told his daughter that the song "Bad to the Bone" was playing when he was born. Whether legend or family lore, it fit. Every time that song plays, it brings him to mind. Though life sometimes placed distance between them, he was always there when he was needed most. In some of the hardest seasons, he showed up. That steady presence will not be forgotten.

His favorite scripture was John 3:16:
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
