On June 1st, 2023 Heaven gained an Angel and the late Queen Elizabeth gained a tea partner. Yvonne was born November 28th, 1937 to Henry and Mabel Unsworth in Manchester, England where she enjoyed growing up while playing with her giant tortoise Simba. She also felt the heaviness of WWII when she walked every day to school with a gas mask hung around her neck.
On June 1st, 1957 she married the love of her life Will "Tony" Jones at the Church of England where they were Chauffeured to the train station in a Rolls Royce for a London honeymoon.
Will was a Staff Sergeant in the Air Force stationed at Burtonwood Air Force Base. On June 21st, 1958 they welcomed into this world their daughter Debra.
Yvonne and Will, with their daughter Debra would travel to different parts of the world. Yvonne then learned what it was like to be an independent housewife with a daughter when Will was stationed in Vietnam.
When Will retired from the Air Force, he and Yvonne continued to travel in a fifth wheel for 10 years finally settling in Pahrump, NV.
On September 1st, 2017 Yvonne lost the love of her life. She then moved to Cosmopolis, WA to be near her daughter. Yvonne enjoyed bird and wildlife watching and trips with her daughter as well as picnics at the beach and exploring the mountains of Grays Harbor in the family Land Rover.
She is survived by her Daughter Debra (Doug) Purser.
She is preceded in death by her parents Henry and Mabel Unsworth, her Sister Shelagh (Alan) Day, and of course her Husband Will (Tony) Jones.
Yvonne's final wishes will be honored with no service. Will and Yvonne's ashes along with their beloved pet (Beans) will be mingled and released in the ocean air of Westport.
