Condolence: In the early 1960's, Marv was the principal at Willapa Valley, my husband was the math teacher and I was the secretary to the Superintendent. We were close friends. Every year at the end of the school year, after all the kids were out, we would sit in front of the school with a bottle of bubbly and discuss the good, the bad and everything in between that had happened that year. The world was a better place with Marv in it.

Condolence: My heartfelt deepest and profound sympathy goes out to Marv's family. Marv was a truly remarkable man who made an impression on the lives of everyone he met. I so admire his strength and courage in his battle, his love for his family, and his ever present warm, caring smile. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. May God give you comfort and peace. May his memory sustain you until you all meet again in a better place. All my love, Gina Santos

Condolence From: Michael and Wendy Leon
Condolence: My Goodness, what a man. I am a grandson of his brother Conrad, and didn't really get to spend too much time with Marv. But, the times we were together, were like I had always known him and visit with him weekly. He was always kind to my baby boys at the time, and remember when he took us fishing on his boat in the sound for some farm salmon. I remember when we kept hooking wild salmon and he got mad becuase only one out 3 where looking like they were going to survive being caught. Finally, when I pulled one in and he saw that it didn't have a chance he said. "Mike, give me that fish, I can't take it" And he busted out his gas stove and skillet and we enjoyed "FRESH" salmon. Great memory for me. I enjoyed his canned salmon and his elk treats when we visited our parents in Tacoma. What a great man, I feel privaleged to have known him and love him and his amazing wife dearly. Our Prayers are with all the Lams. Love, Mike,Wendy, Joey, Nick, and Alyssa Leon.

Condolence: Abby:

I am so very sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. Give your Mom a hug & take special care of yourself; your Dad would want that. Please know that although you'll always grieve and miss your Dad, time does soften the hurt. I continue to "send" my Dad messages, telling him how much I love & miss him. He's in my heart & your Dad will always be with you there as well.

Take care! You're in my heart & prayers.

Condolence From: Jim Hutto
Condolence: Oh Uncle Marvin, memories memories. You took me on my first Salmon fishing trip out in the ocean many yrs ago. I still have that picture of holding my first salmon by your boat. Boy those waves were sure big. You introduced me to clams and after all these years clam chowder is finally my favorite. I was always proud when you talked of hunting in Alaska. Your family of Lam's sure have touched the world and the "spirit" of the Lam's will always live on. You listened & shared your heart whether in a school or out in the woods. Thank you for letting me be part of your life over the years.
In his love, your northern most nephew Jim Hutto/Anchorage, Alaska.

Hugs & Prayers filled with Angel guidance to you all at this time.
